The roses-only cushion is a classic, highly elegant funeral tribute, often chosen by the family or those closest to accompany the moment of farewell. The presence of roses alone, with no other flowers, conveys a sense of care, respect and sobriety, without decorative excess.

It suits church ceremonies, chapels of rest, funeral homes or private homes, placed near the casket, at its sides or in a clearly visible position. Depending on the colour chosen (all white, light tones, delicate roses), the emotional shade changes — but the atmosphere always remains composed and respectful.

How we make it

Every roses-only cushion is made to order in the Fiorit workshop in Florence, using a supporting base and full, compact, orderly workmanship. The roses are set close together for an even, harmonious effect, with just enough accompanying greenery to support the shape and give depth, without overloading the arrangement.

The price and size determine the quantity of roses used and the visual presence of the cushion: the larger versions suit the family or large groups, the more contained ones friends and colleagues. For special requests (a specific type of rose, a very precise colour or non-standard sizes) it's always best to contact us: these elements can significantly affect the cost compared with the standard version.

Whenever possible, we do our best to honour the colour preferences indicated (all white, white and cream, powder tones, etc.), replacing any unavailable varieties with roses of equal quality and value, always keeping a sober, consistent style.

Artisan's tip: for a very gathered, luminous effect, all white — or white with light cream shading — is often the most fitting choice for a cushion of roses.

How it works

• Choose the size of the cushion based on your budget and who is sending it (family, relatives, friends, colleagues, group).
• Tell us the delivery date within Florence, the time of the service and the location of the ceremony (church, funeral home, chapel of rest, private home).
• In the order notes, specify your preferred rose colour (all white, light tones, other sober combinations) and the wording for the ribbon and/or card.
• For special requests (specific rose varieties, special formats, very personalised dedications tied to the person) we recommend contacting us by phone or message, so we can define timing, feasibility and an updated quote together.
• If you have urgent questions about timing, delivery or personalisation, and we can't answer right away in the workshop, we'll call you back as soon as possible.

Timing, pickup and delivery

• All roses-only condolence cushions are made to order in the Fiorit workshop in Florence.
• You can order today and request delivery from tomorrow onwards, taking into account the funeral times and preparation needed.
• Delivery within Florence (in the areas we normally serve) is included in the price: we can deliver the cushion directly to the ceremony location or to the funeral home/private home.
• Alternatively, you can choose workshop pickup at Via Mario Roselli Cecconi 29/r–31/r and use the code RITIROBOTTEGA if you prefer to manage timing and delivery yourself.
• Delivery times can be affected by traffic and the unexpected: for ceremonies with very strict schedules, it's important to state the time of the service clearly and, if necessary, get in touch with us.
