The roses-only wreath is one of the most solemn and traditional funeral tributes. It's often chosen by the family, closest relatives or groups wishing to express their sympathy with a gesture of great respect and presence. Using roses alone, without other flowers, conveys a sense of particular care and attention.

It's suitable for church ceremonies, chapels of rest, funeral homes or institutional settings. The wreath can be placed near the entrance, by the casket or in a central position, becoming one of the focal points of the funeral's floral arrangement.

How we make it

Every roses-only wreath is made to order in the Fiorit workshop in Florence, starting from a sturdy circular base covered entirely with roses and just enough accompanying greenery to support the shape and bring out the flowers. The work is full and compact, so the wreath looks even and harmonious across its whole face.

The price and size determine the quantity of roses used and the grandeur of the wreath: the larger versions suit the family or large groups, while the more contained ones suit relatives, associations or colleagues. For special requests (a single specific rose variety, a very precise colour, non-standard sizes) we recommend contacting us: these elements can significantly affect the cost compared with the standard version.

Whenever possible, we honour the colour preferences indicated (all white, white and cream, delicate tones), replacing any unavailable varieties with roses of equal quality and value, always keeping an elegant line and a composed atmosphere.

Artisan's tip: if the wreath represents the farewell of the family or a large group, a medium or large size gives the arrangement the right visual weight, especially in a church or a large space.

How it works

• Choose the size of the wreath based on your budget and who is sending it (family, close relatives, group of friends, colleagues, association).
• Tell us the delivery date within Florence, the time of the funeral and the location of the ceremony (church, chapel of rest, funeral home).
• In the order notes, specify your preferred rose colour (all white, light tones, other sober combinations) and the wording for the ribbon and/or card.
• For special requests about rose varieties, shapes or non-standard sizes, please contact us by phone or message, so we can assess timing, flower availability and any price adjustment together.
• In case of urgency, or questions about delivery times and methods, if we can't answer right away from the workshop, we'll call you back as soon as possible.

Timing, pickup and delivery

• Roses-only condolence wreaths are made to order in the Fiorit workshop in Florence.
• You can order today and request delivery from tomorrow onwards, taking into account the time of the funeral and the time needed to make the wreath.
• Delivery within Florence (in the areas we normally serve) is included in the price and can be made directly to the church, the funeral home or the location of the ceremony.
• Alternatively, you can choose workshop pickup at Via Mario Roselli Cecconi 29/r–31/r and use the code RITIROBOTTEGA if you prefer to manage transport and timing yourself.
• Delivery times can vary with traffic and the unexpected: for ceremonies with strict schedules, it's important to tell us the exact time of the service and, if necessary, coordinate with us.
