At a time of loss, flowers can express sympathy when words feel difficult. Choosing them is partly about the design and partly about making sure the gesture suits the family and reaches the right place.

For the family or for a ceremony?

A restrained bouquet or arrangement can suit a family's home. Wreaths and floral cushions are more directly associated with funeral ceremonies. Consider the family's wishes and the setting before deciding.

White, cream, green and soft lilac are familiar choices. Warmer or more personal colours may be appropriate too, especially when they reflect the deceased person's preferences. Respect does not depend on using only white.

Choosing flowers and words

Roses, lilies, chrysanthemums and other flowers may be used according to availability and the design. If fragrance, a particular flower or a personal colour matters, discuss it with us first.

A short message of sympathy can be enough. For a ribbon or other specific presentation, confirm the available product and wording before ordering.

For funeral delivery, contact us before buying

A ceremony has a timetable, while normal delivery does not include a guaranteed exact time. If the flowers are intended for a church, farewell room or funeral home, contact Fiorit before placing the order with the location, date and ceremony time.

Wait for confirmation of feasibility. Writing the funeral time in the order notes does not confirm a delivery appointment. Fiorit does not offer same-day delivery.

Sending flowers to the family home

A home delivery on a later available day can offer more flexibility. Allow at least 24 hours and choose an available working day, excluding public holidays. Supply a useful recipient contact and clear address details.
