The mixed-flowers cushion is a classic funeral tribute, designed to be placed near the casket, at its sides or close to the altar. It's suitable as a gesture from family, relatives, friends or colleagues who wish to express their sympathy with a full but never excessive arrangement.

The mixed flowers are chosen from the varieties best suited to a time of mourning, creating a harmonious, quiet whole that's never too colourful. It's a versatile solution that works well for church ceremonies as well as chapels of rest or funeral homes.

How we make it

Every cushion is made to order in the Fiorit workshop in Florence, using a supporting base and compact workmanship, with the flowers set close together for a full, orderly effect. "Mixed flowers" means we use the best fresh flowers available at the time, selected for a sober result in measured, never "cheerful" tones.

The price and size determine the quantity of flowers and the visual presence of the cushion: from the more contained versions to the most imposing. For specific requests about particular varieties or very precise colour palettes, we recommend contacting us: in these cases the cost may vary compared with the standard version.

Since these tributes are often requested at short notice, we'll do our best to honour the preferences indicated (all white, light, with discreet touches of colour). If certain flowers can't be sourced, we'll replace them with alternatives of equal quality, keeping the style, proportions and atmosphere consistent.

Artisan's tip: a cushion in light tones, mostly white and green, is often the most fitting choice when you want a composed, very discreet thought.

How it works

• Choose the size of the cushion based on your budget and who is sending it (family, relatives, friends, colleagues).
• Tell us the delivery date within Florence, the time of the service and the location of the ceremony (church, chapel of rest, funeral home, private home).
• In the notes, add your colour preferences (all white, white and cream, light tones) and the wording for the ribbon and/or card.
• For special requests about specific flowers or non-standard sizes, please contact us by phone or message so we can assess timing, feasibility and any price adjustment together.
• For urgent questions, if we can't answer right away, we'll call you back from the workshop as soon as possible.

Timing, pickup and delivery

• All condolence flower cushions are made to order in the Fiorit workshop in Florence.
• You can order today and request delivery from tomorrow onwards, according to the funeral times and preparation needed.
• Delivery within Florence (in the areas we normally serve) is included in the price and can be made directly to the ceremony location or to the funeral home/private home.
• You can choose workshop pickup at Via Mario Roselli Cecconi 29/r–31/r, using the code RITIROBOTTEGA if you prefer to manage delivery yourself.
• Please bear in mind that delivery times can be affected by traffic and the unexpected: for ceremonies with very strict schedules, it's important to state the time of the service clearly and, if necessary, get in touch with us.
